Lindsay Lohan Fumes as DJ Set Is Interrupted by Snappers!

Lindsay Lohan hurled obscenities at a nightclub crowd in New York on Thursday night when fans refused to stop taking photographs of the actress as she hosted a DJ set.

The Mean Girls star, who recently underwent counseling to curb her wild ways, was DJing at Manhattan's Plumm nightclub when she lost her temper as fans kept 'flashing' her.

Lohan turned off the music from the DJ booth and reportedly screamed at the snap-happy fans, "If I see one more f**king flashbulb go off, I'm going to stop the music and I'm out of here."

Fans took her threat seriously and the rest of her DJ set went smoothly.

It was a tense night for Lohan--she demanded club owners hire extra security to make sure her estranged father, who was released from prison earlier in the week after serving time for assault, didn't get access.

Sources tell Web site TMZ.com that Lohan handed bouncers a photograph of her father, Michael, and told them to keep him out if he showed up.

Upon his release from jail, Michael Lohan revealed he wanted to reconcile with his famous daughter.

Lindsay Lohan has pulled out of a new movie she was scheduled to shoot with Annette Bening, so she can take some time to relax after her current rehab stint!

The actress checked into Los Angeles' Wonderland treatment center last month in an effort to seek help for escalating personal issues, but she has continued to work while attending counseling.

Her publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, now confirms the star will be taking a much-needed rest after completing her current slate of film and promotional work - and Bening's movie 'A Woman Of No Importance' will be scratched off her schedule.

In a statement to website TMZ.com, Zelnick says, "(She has) decided not to push herself."

This marks the second time the two actresses were supposed to work together - Bening was originally cast as Lohan's mother in 'Freaky Friday,' but a scheduling problem forced the star to pull out. Jamie Lee Curtis eventually landed the role.

Party-loving US actress Lindsay Lohan has entered a rehabilitation center for an undisclosed condition, reports said, as the star vowed to take care of her health!

"I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health," Lohan, 20, said in a statement sent to Lindsay Lohan enters treatment center.

"I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time."

The statement came as the TMZ.com celebrity website reported that Lohan had checked herself into rehab.

Us Weekly magazine reported that she pulled up to the rehab clinic in Los Angeles in a blacked out SUV followed by a caravan of two other cars.

Though Lohan did not attend Monday's Golden Globe Awards, the actress was spotted at Prince's after-party at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel where "she was totally out of it," an onlooker told the magazine.

Her rehab comes just weeks after the "Bobby" and "Herbie: Fully Loaded" star underwent an operation to remove her appendix, and followed revelations last month that she was seeking treatment for alcoholism.

Lohan has repeatedly hit the headlines in recent years for a series of health-related issues.

Last year she told Vanity Fair magazine she had once suffered from an eating disorder. She later denied admitting to anorexia.

In January last year she was hospitalised with asthma while in July she sought treatment for heat exhaustion, prompting a rebuke from a studio executive who said her party-animal lifestyle was to blame.
